Eric has taught Introduction to Social Work and Crisis Intervention at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona for the past several years.  He regularly presents training seminars on the subjects of HIV/AIDS, ethics, sexual compulsivity, sexual trauma, and addiction. He has been published in the areas of HIV/AIDS, sexual compulsivity, substance abuse, depression, sexual trauma, and sex-offender treatment.

In 1996 Eric was honored by being named Counselor of the Year by the Arizona Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors.

Eric has been a well-respected psychotherapist in the Tucson mental health community for more than a decade. He provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples.

He is a sought-after speaker for national conferences, and has been invited to speak at the National Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity Conference in San Diego, the National Social Workers and HIV Treatment Conference in New Orleans, and the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Conference in San Francisco, as well as numerous other national conferences across the United States.
